Meet Our Staff

Dr. Ron Ewert, DDS

Dr. Ewert graduated with his Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) degree in 1994 from Loma Linda University. He was senior class president and graduated first in his class. While in school, his emphasis was working with small children and advanced restorative treatment for adults. He worked with the Patient Relations department at Loma Linda to receive many of the more emotionally challenging patients.

He worked for 2 years, after completing his dental education, with his brother Dr. Mike Ewert, in Lake Arrowhead, California. That helped him to develop the “real world” skills and experience needed to practice on his own.

In 1996, Dr. Ewert began practicing in his Springfield Location. He just celebrated 15 years at that office. He has a young family and enjoys spending most of his spare with his wife, Jennifer, and their kids. When not at work, he enjoys running and traveling to soccer fields all over the state to watch his children compete. He also is an amateur photographer and enjoys making video productions for weddings, school and church events.

Jeannie Frank, Office Manager

Jeannie is our patient relations, and finance coordinator. She is a kind and pleasant person who is there help you with a treatment plan that meets both your dental and financial needs. Jeannie will act on your behalf with any insurance issue that might arise.

Jeannie enjoys time with her family, chasing them from one sporting event to another. She enjoys weight lifting, working out and embracing a healthy lifestyle.

Kelly Nores, Front Office Support & Registered Dental Assistant

Kelly works primarily in the front office. We call her “KellyLou” as we have two Kelly’s working with us. She is also a certified assistant and works with our patients assisting with direct patient care. Kelly has a sweet, jovial spirit and loves working with all of our patients.

When not at work, Kelly enjoys spending time with her two children. Their favorite destination is the beach. She also enjoys walking, crafting and reading.

Cassandra Bowen, Registered Dental Assistant

Cassandra graduated from Lane Community College Dental Assisting program in 1998. She is EFDA (Expanded-Functions) certified. She has been working full time in the Eugene-Springfield area for the past 13 years. Cassandra loves working with people and makes patient comfort her highest priority.

When away from dentistry, she enjoys long walks, gardening and spending time with her daughter and husband.

Kelly Schmidt, Registered Dental Hygienist

Kelly graduated from Lane Community College in 1996 with her Dental Hygiene degree. She also has an associate degree in Business management and has had experience as a dental assistant as well. She has worked in the Eugene/Springfield area since 1992 and has had extensive training/experience with children in a pediatric dental setting.

Kelly is highly skilled and works hard to help you keep your teeth and soft tissues (gums) healthy. She gives special attention to each patient to make each visit a comfortable, rewarding experience.

During off time, Kelly is often found in her children’s classroom, or helping with PTO activities. She also enjoys movies and outdoor recreation.

Dana Chase, Registered Dental Hygienist

Dana graduated from Springfield High in 1984, then completed the Dental Hygiene program at LCC in 1991. She has practiced Hygiene area in the Springfield/ Eugene area for 19 years and truly enjoys her job. She has a fun-loving and easy going spirit and is very skilled in all aspects of the dental care.

On her off time, Dana enjoys a myriad of outdoor activities, including snow and water-skiing, and hiking. She loves travel, especially to warmer locations.
